Let's get this straight, I am no runner. This short-limbed body was not designed for running -- but, running changed my life. It's what got me started on the journey of weight-loss. When I do run, I like to do some stretches/warm ups to ensure all goes well.
I recently visited my family down in Durban, South Africa. Durban is a second home for me -- a place to unwind, relax and shoot some amazing drone footage along the way. Enjoy some footage of Ballito and Umhlanga Rocks and also amazing food!
Survival vs. Performance, this is something I want to give my two cents on today. I hear it a lot in my field of work -- "oh, you need this and that and eat this phytonutrient which will benefit you this and that way..." Hang on. The goal in life is to live and perform in a sustainable way in my opinion. Many of the "biohackers" I meet are so caught up in the actual "hacking" part of life, they forget to actually LIVE.
In this episode, I talk about training in an intermittent fasted state, my pre-workout milkshake thingy that tasted so good AND has ZERO CARBS and also there are some random footage of me working out and being weird...enjoy and subscribe for more (almost) daily content.
Intermittent Fasting has changed the game for me. I undeniably think intermittent fasting is one of the most flexible ways to dieting and dieting success -- specifically when you're seeking to change from a carb-dependent devourer to a keto-adapted person who can run on far more efficient fuel as apposed to glucose.
Here are 7 things I took aways from the awesome book I've just read by Daniel Kahnemen, Thinking, Fast and Slow. It was a great read -- a book I wouldn't normally go for, but it was worth it. It challenged my perceptions of why we act and think the way we do! I highly recommend it and I hope you enjoy the video.
Ahhhh, have you ever wondered how some people can travel and stay healthy 24/7? I decided to have a little chat on my thoughts of the matter -- two words -- Intermittent Feasting. It's like Intermittent Fasting but better (kind of) -- enjoy
Woolworths South Africa are coming out with various new ranges of LOW-CARB HIGH FAT products which I have been very impressed by! Also I take you through 18.5 -- the last WOD of the CROSSFIT GAMES OPEN -- it was so much fun to be a part of!
Most people think it is extremely expensive to follow any diet -- let alone a CARNIVORE one...well not true carnivore but close to it. I seriously challenge you to see where you're spending your money and how a low-carb diet can actually save you not only money, but time.
Trying something new!! Everyone could use a little boost for the week on a Monday -- so heres my stab at it. I undoubtedly don't think I have it all figured out, this is just some stuff that has worked for me and I wanted to share it with you.
