The 20%: Applying the 80/20 Rule to Life & Work

The 20%: Applying the 80/20 Rule to Life & Work

The 80/20 rule (or Pareto Principle) is a simple mathematical concept that was observed by Pareto:

The 80-20 rule, also known as the Pareto Principle, is an aphorism which asserts that 80% of outcomes (or outputs) result from 20% of all causes (or inputs) for any given event

There are many examples where you can apply this principle for a better quality life. Or should I say: a more flow-state driven life. A life where the right strategies align with the right intentions.

Waking Up by Sam Harris | Guided Meditation Review (vs Headspace)

The Streamlined Year Of Chaos and Control (Forking Paths Upon Forking Paths)

An App That Made Me 10% Happier

After Dan Harris, the host of Good Morning America, had a complete meltdown on air, he searched for a solution to the voices converging in his head that ultimately lead to his mental stutters. He wrote a book called 10% Happier: How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works— although the title does sound a tad misleading, it couldn’t be more true. Hearing about his book lead me to Headspace which ultimately got me into meditation.

6 Books That Have Changed My Life (So Far)

I've never been an avid reader. In the last three years, however, this has changed. I read to learn. I read to imbibe. I read to live. Reading has this uncanny ability to open your eyes and see the world for what it is. Below is the list of books that have had a major influence on my life, so far. My goal is to be a lifelong learner. As Tony Robbins would say, “If you’re not growing, you’re dying."
